Thanks to its special formulation, the water-soluble synthetic can optimize almost any metalworking process.

The special cooling lubricant is free of mineral oil and formaldehyde deposits, and contains no silicon, phosphorus, zinc or tin-based ingredients, making it directly suitable for manufacturing components for lithography systems in the semiconductor industry.

Optimization of demanding machining processes

rhenus TY 155 L is suitable for almost all machining methods: Drilling, turning, milling, reaming (with HSS/HM), peeling, sawing, thread cutting/forming, deep drilling, surface/round grinding. This also makes it universally applicable in a wide range of industries. Its strengths are of particular benefit to the semiconductor industry, for which a process release has already been issued. Thanks to its high stability and good service life, it is also considered a machine-friendly all-rounder. The water-clear cooling lubricant has very good foam decomposition and is also water-soluble. It is a particularly suitable option for stain-sensitive materials, such as aluminium alloys. Thanks to these special properties, it can reduce material costs and shorten machining processes.

During development, Rhenus Lub placed particular emphasis on environmental and human compatibility. The cooling lubricant is free of biocides, has good skin compatibility with a neutral pH value and also scores with a pleasant odor. The user-friendly all-rounder is declared with water hazard class 1 and is GHS label-free. rhenus TY 155 L contains no boron and is a good decision for people and nature.
